The Dust Be Diamonds Stays are made of an outer layer of a upcycled diamond pattern velvet layered over a bright yellow cotton blend. The two fabrics layered end up as a muted chartreuse. Inner and lining layers of cotton twill. Metallic gold piping runs along the top edge and velvet ribbon runs down the front seams. The sleeves are made from stretch velvet and adorned with velvet ribbon trim, finished with silk dupioni binding. Back lacing, heavily boned. These untabbed stays offer full bust support. This piece is one of a kind.
PLEASE NOTE: This piece has some small imperfections. Ribbon was added to the front of both armscyes to cover fraying fabric, and the metallic piping has a small spot on the back which is also frayed. Fray check has been applied so it shouldn’t continue to unravel. See last three photos. Also, the outer mesh/velvet diamond fabric is relatively fragile and can snag, wear this piece with care.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4″ smaller. If your measurements are on the high end of the ranges given below, you may have a lacing gap.
Size 33 fully closed measures: Bust 33", Waist 27", side rise 8". Recommended for natural body measurements of: Bust 35-38", waist 29-32".
Biceps fit up to 13".
Fabric content: Outer layer upcycled poly blend mesh and velvet layered over a cotton/poly blend. Inner layer cotton twill, lining layer cotton twill. Sleeves synthetic stretch velvet. Velvet ribbon as sleeve decoration and seam covering on bodice, silk dupioni sleeve binding, metallic piping. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, satin ribbon lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand only. Do not machine wash. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
