Hand Sewn Eyelets

This listing is to add hand sewn eyelets instead of metal grommets for lacing. Eyelets were hand sewn throughout history until the invention of metal grommets in the late 19th century. Adding hand sewn eyelets to your stays will add to the historical accuracy of the piece.

The eyelets will be sewn in silk buttonhole twist for durability. Currently only white, red, and black are available.

For modern stays without hip tabs, choose the 14 eyelet option. For historical style stays with hip tabs, choose the 26 eyelet option.
