The Pastoral Stays are made of an outer layer of cotton fabric in a sky blue toile print. The inner layer is made of cotton twill, and the lining layer is linen. Back lacing, with a cream ribbon around the top edge for size 39 and cream lace for size 32. These heavily boned, untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 18th century stay styles, minus the tabs!
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4" smaller. If you wear a D cup or larger, sizing down 3-4" is recommended. Model is wearing the size 39 and has measurements of bust 42", waist 35" for reference.
Size 32 fully closed measures: bust 32", waist 24". Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 32-36", waist 24-28".
Size 39 fully closed measures: bust 39", waist 32". Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 42-46", waist 34-38".
Fabric content: Outer layer cotton. Inner and lining layers 100% cotton twill and linen. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, hand made and sewn binding, grosgrain ribbon lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
