Step into a gothic novel in these romantic velvet stays. Haunt a castle, roam the moors, or just dress it up with a blazer for a night out. These stays are simple but elegant, perfect for both cottagecore princess dreams or a clean, modern look when paired with denim.
The Pearl Stays are made of an outer layer of silk/rayon blend velvet fabric, inner layer of cotton twill, and lining layer of cotton coutil. Inspired by the shape of extant 16th century stays, these feature a straight neckline with elongated front stomach panel. Stapless, back lacing. These heavily boned, untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 16th century stays.
This piece is made to order in your size and in your choice of either black or white velvet. I will contact you after you place your order to determine your measurements and sizing, and please allow up to three weeks for these stays to ship.
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4″ smaller. If you wear a D cup or larger, sizing down 3-5″ is recommended. You will be contacted by email after placing your order to discuss sizing for your made to order piece.
Fabric content: Outer layer 18% silk/82% rayon velvet. Inner layer cotton twill, lining layer cotton coutil. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, satin ribbon lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
