The Rose Oak Stays are made of an outer layer of vintage upcycled cotton and two inner layers of cotton twill and duck. These half boned, tabbed stays offer full support and are based on 1780’s styles. Front spiral lacing for ease of wear. These beautiful hand made stays are appropriate for use under 1780’s costuming or for historybounding. All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are by natural bust measurement. We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes or to leave a lacing gap in the front. Model one is a natural size 42 wearing the size 46 for reference, these stays are slightly too large on model one. Model two is a natural size 44 also wearing size 46.
These stays give about 4" waist reduction when fully closed. If your measurements are on the larger end of the given range, expect a larger lacing gap in the front.
Size 36 Fit: 32" bust, 24" waist when fully closed. Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 34-35", waist 26-27".
Size 46 Fit: 42" bust, 34" waist when fully closed. Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 44-45", waist 36-37".
Fabric content: Outer layer 100% vintage cotton. Inner layer 100% cotton twill. Lining layer 100% striped cotton duck. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, cotton cord lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended.
