This cropped bodice is made from the quintessential summer fabric, a perfect pink gingham. Enjoy your picnic in the park in a cottagecore dream, or wear it prairie style with jeans or a denim mini and cowboy boots!
The Watermelon Bodice is made entirely from upcycled fabric. The outer layer of fabric is a pink and white gingham, and white cotton eyelet lace runs along the bottom edge. This bodice is boned in the center front and designed for light support, to be worn as an outer garment.
There is one size 40 (XL) ready to ship, all other sizes will be made to order. For made to order pieces, I will contact you after you place your order to determine your measurements and sizing, and please allow up to three weeks for these stays to ship.
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are by bust measurement. We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes or to leave a lacing gap in the front. For reference, model is wearing the size XL/40 with measurements of: bust 42", waist 35".
Size XL/40 Measurements: Fully closed bodice measurements are 40" bust, 32" waist, 7.25" side rise. Recommended for natural body measurements of 40-42" bust, 32-34" waist. If your measurements are on the high end of the given range, expect a lacing gap.
Fabric content: Outer layer: upcycled unknown synthetic fabric. Inner layer 100% cotton. Silver metal grommets, synthetic boning, white satin ribbon at shoulders and lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean or wash by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your bodice, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your bodice and keeps it cleaner.
