Blue silk stripes with a delicate embroidered floral trim make this the perfect piece for spring or summer. Lay in a field of grass and watch the clouds while you match the beautiful blue sky.
The Clara Stays are made of an outer layer of upcycled striped silk, inner layer of cotton twill, and lining layer of cotton coutil. Decorative embroidered trim runs down the front side seams, and a checkerboard piping finishes the top edge. Back lacing, heavily boned. These untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 18th century stay styles, minus the tabs!
There is one size 37 (Large/XL) ready to ship, all other sizes will be made to order. For made to order pieces, I will contact you after you place your order to determine your measurements and sizing, and please allow up to three weeks for these stays to ship.
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4″ smaller. If you wear a D cup or larger, sizing down 3-5″ is recommended. For reference, model is wearing size 37 and has measurements of: bust 42", waist 35".
Size 37 fully closed measures: Bust 37", Waist 30". Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 39-41", waist 32-34".
Fabric content: Outer layer upcycled silk, inner layer cotton twill, lining layer cotton coutil. Vintage embroidered trim, metal grommets, silk binding, checkerboard piping, synthetic boning, satin ribbon lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
