These decadent lavender stays are exquisitely adorned with silk, pearls, and intricate beadwork. A one of a kind heirloom piece, you will stand out at any occasion wearing these.
The Marian Stays are made of an outer layer of a vintage poly blend satin, inner layer of cotton twill, and lining layer of cotton coutil. Strapless, back lacing, heavily boned. A vintage appliqué sits in the center, adorned with beads, freshwater pearls, and a silk chiffon ruffle edge. Silk velvet binding finishes the top and bottom of the piece. These untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 18th century stay styles, minus the tabs!
PLEASE NOTE: These stays are made with vintage fabric which has some scratches, fold marks, and water stains which I was not able to remove. In my opinion these marks do not take away from the overall beauty of the garment, but if you prefer pristine, unblemished fabric then these are not a good fit for you. Please see last four photos for examples of fabric imperfections.
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4″ smaller. If your measurements are on the high end of the ranges given below, you may have a lacing gap.
Size 38 fully closed measures: Bust 38", Waist 30", side rise 8". Recommended for natural body measurements of: Bust 40-43", waist 32-35".
Fabric content: Outer layer upcycled poly blend satin. Inner layer cotton twill, lining layer cotton coutil. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, satin ribbon lacing, silk velvet binding, silk chiffon ruffles, freshwater pearls, vintage beaded appliqué.
Washing instructions: I do not recommend washing these as the outer fabric will accumulate water stains. You could talk to a dry cleaning professional and ask about their most delicate treatment, but I can't guarantee the outcome. Do not machine wash. I recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
