The Plum Stays are are made of an outer layer of upcycled vintage striped fabric, inner layer of cotton muslin, and lining layer of cotton coutil. Embroidered trim runs down the front sides. These heavily boned, smooth covered, untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 18th century stay styles, minus the tabs!
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are by bust measurement. We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes or to leave a lacing gap. Model is wearing the size 33 and has measurements of bust 42", waist 35" for reference.
Size 33 fully closed measures: bust 33", waist 27". Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 35-38", waist 29-32".
Fabric content: Outer layer upcycled polyester/cotton blend. Inner layer cotton muslin, lining layer cotton coutil. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, hand sewn binding, satin ribbon lacing and ties.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
