The Western Stays are are made of an outer layer of upcycled moiré fabric, inner layer of cotton coutil, and lining layer of linen. Decorated with upcycled quilting panels. Adjustable straps, racerback design, front lacing. These heavily boned, untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 18th century stay styles, minus the tabs!
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4" smaller. If you wear a D cup or larger, sizing down 3-5" is recommended. If your measurements are on the larger end of the ranges given below, expect a lacing gap. For reference, model's measurements are bust 42" and waist 34".
Size 34 when fully closed measures 34" bust and 27.5" waist. Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 35-37", waist 29-31".
Fabric content: Outer layer upcycled polyester moiré fabric. Inner layer 100% cotton coutil. Lining layer linen. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, grosgrain ribbon lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
