The Stygian Garden Stays are are made of an outer layer of cotton twill fabric, and inner layers of cotton canvas and cotton twill. Hand-sewn embroidered appliqués feature on both the front and back of the piece. Hand-sewn velvet seam coverings and binding on bottom edge. These heavily boned, untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 18th century stay styles, minus the tabs! Strapless, back lacing.
The size 34 (pictured) is ready to ship.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4" smaller. If you wear a D cup or larger, sizing down 3-4" is recommended. If your measurements are on the larger end of the ranges given below, expect a lacing gap.
Size 34 when fully closed measures 34" bust and 26" waist. Recommended for natural body measurements of: bust 36-40", waist 28-32".
Fabric content: Outer layer 100% cotton twill fabric. Inner layer 100% cotton canvas. Lining layer 100% cotton twill. Embroidered appliqués on mesh fabric. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, velvet binding and seam covering, grosgrain ribbon lacing.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
