The Vessel Stays are made of an outer layer of an upcycled tapestry fabric, and lining layer of cotton coutil. Strapless, back lacing, heavily boned. These untabbed stays offer full bust support and are based on 18th century stay styles, minus the tabs!
All Lineage Garments incorporate hand sewing and therefore have small variants unique to each piece.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4″ smaller. If your measurements are on the high end of the ranges given below, you may have a lacing gap.
Size 32 fully closed measures: Bust 32", waist 24", side rise 8.5". Recommended for natural body measurements of: Bust 34-37", waist 25-28".
Fabric content: Outer layer upcycled cotton/poly blend. Inner layer cotton coutil. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, satin ribbon lacing, petersham binding.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand. Machine wash not recommended. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
