Inspired by Italian Renaissance fashion, this sumptuous piece is dripping with embellishment and the metallic silk sleeves have the most beautiful shine in the light.
The Gossamer Stays are made of an outer layer of a upcycled green/gold paisley velvet, inner layer of cotton twill, and lining layer of cotton coutil. The sleeves are made from a sheer metallic silk organza and adorned with embroidered trim. The forearms lace up to add another historical touch. An embroidered net ruffle runs across the neckline. Back lacing, heavily boned. These untabbed stays offer full bust support. This piece is one of a kind.

Sizing: Sizes are determined by natural bust measurement. We recommend taking your natural bust measurement, then choosing a size 2-4″ smaller. If your measurements are on the high end of the ranges given below, you may have a lacing gap.
Size 35 fully closed measures: Bust 35", Waist 28", side rise 8". Recommended for natural body measurements of: Bust 37-40", waist 30-33".
Biceps fit up to 13", forearms up to 11".
Fabric content: Outer layer upcycled poly blend velvet. Inner layer cotton twill, lining layer cotton coutil. Puff sleeves metallic silk. Metal grommets, synthetic boning, satin ribbon lacing, embroidered nylon net ruffle, embroidered sleeve trim layered over metallic trim. Elastic shoulder straps integrated into the sleeves.
Washing instructions: Spot clean by hand only. Do not machine wash. We recommend wearing a washable layer underneath your stays, as was done historically. This helps extend the life of your stays and keeps them cleaner.
